Simple ways of including flax in your daily diet

Spreadable Butter
Soften 125g butter.
Place in a food processor and slowly add 65ml of flax original, flax boost or flax balance until thoroughly mixed.
Store in a light proof container in the refrigerator.
Ideal for making healthy sandwiches.
Do not, however, cook with this butter.
Hummus
8 cloves garlic
½ cup flax original
¼ cup cider vinegar
1 tsp salt
2 Tbsp powdered chicken or vegetable stock
3 cups cooked chickpeas
¾ cup water
¼ cup toasted sesame seeds
Blend first 5 ingredients.
Add half the chickpeas, blend till smooth, then add the water, sesame seeds and remaining chick peas. Blend until smooth.

- Pour over food once cooked and served on the plate
